Also in theaters this weekend in super limited release: Rise: Blood Hunter, starring Lucy Liu as a investigative reporter-turned-bloodthirsty vampire, hell-bent on getting revenge on the vampire cult that made her this way. According to the website, it's currently playing in theaters in Minneapolis, Phoenix and Seattle, on its way to video bin obscurity. Honestly, it looks pretty crappy. But at least Lucy gets to hold a crossbow.
