asian american literary review, issue one

I recently heard from Lawrence Minh-Davis, the editor of the newly launched Asian American Literary Review. As a showcase of the best of today's Asian American literature, they are pleased to announce the release of their very first issue.

Issue 1 features forum responses by David Mura, Ru Freeman, and Alexander Chee; poetry by Cathy Song, Oliver de la Paz, Paisley Rekdal, April Naoko Heck, Mong-Lan, Nick Carbo, Eugene Gloria, and David Woo; Karen Tei Yamashita interviewed by Kandice Chuh; prose by Ed Lin, Marie Mutsuki Mockett, Sonya Chung, Hasanthika Sirisena, David Mura, Gary Pak, and Brian Ascalon Roley; and book reviews by Paul Lai, Timothy Yu, and Jennifer Ann Ho.

That's impressive lineup of contributors. For more information about the first issue, and to purchase a subscription, visit the Asian American Literary Review website here. For questions and submission inquiries, contact editors@aalrmag.org.
