angry reader of the week: lisa lee

What's up, cool people. You know what time it is. Meet the Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is our Lisa Lee.

Who are you?
I am Lisa Lee, and I want to travel the world.

What are you?
I'm a Wired-reading, gadget-loving, social-networking tech junkie by day. By night, I put on my nonprofit cape and go where the wind takes me. For now, that means running Thick Dumpling Skin with Lynn Chen, conjuring up the baddest community gatherings, and working to empower girls/women through various organizations.

Where are you?
Currently, in India. Normally, I'm in my head, somewhere.

Where are you from?
"Home is nomadic," as a dear friend once said. I've lived in Taiwan, South Africa, Los Angeles, and all over the SF Bay Area, so technically, I'm from all of those places and I carry a bit of all of those places with me.

What do you do?
I collect things that really have no purpose, like quirky toys and antique jars (yes, I admit I'm a hoarder). I spend hours on YouTube watching dance videos and Oscar speeches. I surf blogs like Dads are the Original Hipsters and Kim Jong-Il Looking At Things. I read furniture catalogs and watch Planet Earth to relax. Strangely enough, I also love to ride buses across rural towns and embrace the feeling of being completely and totally anonymous.

What are you all about?
I'm all about my family, my dog, my slow jams, and my Netflix. I can then spend another paragraph on all the food that I'm crazy about, such as A LOT of eggs, cheese, and key lime pies.

What makes you angry?
People who lack passion and compassion. People who lack the will to change what they complain about. People who let their dog take a doodoo and don't pick it up.
