little dragon tales at moca, february 4

New York parents, start the Year of the Dragon with cuteness. Dave Liang of the Shanghai Restoration Project recently released Little Dragon Tales, a collection of traditional Chinese children's songs mixed with electronica beats and other modern twists. May sound strange, but like all of Dave Liang's unexpected combinations, it works. He'll be at the Museum of Chinese in America with Shanghai jazz singer Zhang Le to teach kids some of those songs.
