Hey everybody, check it out. Your clicks are needed! The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders has announced the finalists in the "What's Your Story?" video challenge.

From now through the end of the month, you can watch and vote for your favorite videos, which include several friends to this blog. Here's the announcement from White House staffers Eddie Lee and Miya Saika Chen:

And here's some more information on the contest and how they chose the finalists:
In the fall of 2011, the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders launched the “What’s your story?” video challenge. The challenge aimed to highlight the personal stories of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) across the country who have impacted their community through their dreams, experiences, and dedication to a cause.

Ultimately, we received over 200 unique and inspiring stories. Each video shines a light on the important work happening around the country. And they remind us what makes this community so strong. From these submissions, we have chosen the top 11 video entrees based on strength of content and creativity.
Now's it's your turn. These are some really great stories highlighting some of the amazing work going on in the AAPI community. With your help, the Initiative will be inviting a select number of the finalists to the White House as Champions of Change in March.

View the finalists and pick your favorite video here, now through March 1.
