Fortissimo Films picks up international distribution rights to Linsanity

Fortissimo Films has acquired all rights outside of North American and China to the Evan Jackson Leong's feature documentary Linsanity, fresh from its world premiere last month at the Sundance Film Festival: Fortissimo takes int'l on 'Linsanity.'

Hold up. First, watch this clip of Jeremy Lin's big dunk against the Sacramento Kings last night:

Okay, continue. Fortissimo will commence international sales immediately with screenings scheduled next month for the Hong Kong Filmart, March 18-21. CAA is representing U.S. distribution rights on behalf of the producers, but no word on that yet, but I'm sure that's in the works. Only a matter of time.

In the meantime, if you're in the Bay Area, you can catch Linsanity screening as the Opening Night Presentation of CAAMFest 2013 (formerly the San Francisco International Film Festival) on Thursday, March 14 at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco.

Also, if you're in a generous mood, you can support Linsanity by contributing to the film's Kickstarter, which only has a few days left. For further information, and to make a pledge, go to the campaign page here.
