I Want the Wide American Earth, September 14 - October 27

If you're in Los Angeles, be sure to check out the national tour of I Want the Wide American Earth: An Asian Pacific American Story, making its first stop at the the Japanese American National Museum in Little Tokyo.

Created by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, and running September 14 through October 27, the banner exhibition is a sweeping look at how Asian Pacific Americans have shaped and been shaped by the course of our nation's history.

The exhibition kicks off with a free opening party this Friday, September 13. Here are some more details:

FREE & Open to the Public!

Join us for the opening party for I Want the Wide American Earth. The night will feature comedy and music from YouTube stars DANakaDAN + CREW LOVE and The Fung Brothers. We will also premiere our new two-person show, Our American Voice, presented in partnership with East West Players. Plus, DJ Tony Jr., the Mighty Boba Truck, and Aloha Cafe!
