I like it. Not only is C.S. a great performer -- I look forward to seeing him as a slimy politician-type -- the character's name suggests that it wasn't necessarily written for an Asian American actor. Bring it.

The acclaimed first season of True Detective was directed by Cary Fukunaga, who won an Emmy for his epic eight-episode stint. He hands off the reins for season two, which will be helmed by multiple directors, including Justin Lin, who is slated to take on the first two episodes.

Season two of True Detective is expected to premiere next summer.
