For those of you in Los Angeles, don't miss evening of ukulele awesomeness.

The Japanese American National Museum, First Pond Entertainment, Visual Communications and Angry Asian Man present a special screening of Jake Shimabukuro: Life on Four Strings, Tad Nakamura's award-winning documentary on international ukulele sensation Jake Shimabukuro. The screening will be followed by a discussion and a special holiday performance by Jake himself!

Celebrate the holidays with a screening of Jake Shimabukuro: Life on Four Strings, an inspiring portrait of an inventive musician whose virtuoso ukulele skills have transformed all previous notions of the instrument’s potential. Through intimate conversations with Shimabukuro, the film reveals the cultural and personal influences that have shaped the man and the musician.

Screening will be followed by a special holiday performance by Shimabukuro, a conversation between Shimabukuro and award-winning director Tadashi Nakamura, and a light reception. This event is co-presented by JANM, Angry Asian Man, First Pond Entertainment, and Visual Communications.
