Angry Reader of the Week: Eugene Cordero

"I play pretend."

Hello, good readers! It's that time again. Time to meet the Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is Eugene Cordero.

Who are you?

I am Eugene Cordero. A dad, husband, brother and son. I get stressed about being the best at each of those things individually and also together.

What are you?

A Momma's boy and the fourth Eugene Cordero. I am sure I have traits of all three of the men who share this name and I hope my son (Eugene V) will also get the good ones that have been handed down. I am also about 60% water still.

Where are you?

I am in a great place. I love my family. My friends I consider my family. Work is stressful but that also makes it exciting. I am a little scattered right now but I see all the pieces so it's just about picking that shit up. I am happy to still be performing regularly at UCB and love co-hosting The Dumbbells Podcast (they both help my sanity)

Where are you from?

Both my folks moved here from the Philippines and I was born and raised in Michigan. I moved to NYC and lived there for about 12 years. Moved to LA about 7 years ago and realized I am a Cali Kid at heart.

What do you do?

I play pretend.

What are you all about?

My family.

What makes you angry?

Disrespect. Of my life, work and space. If you question my choices, you are disrespecting my life. If you question my abilities, you are disrespecting my work. If your question is just your opinion, you are disrespecting my space.
