Angry Reader of the Week: Chris Pang

"I really should have read these questions first before answering them."

All right, folks. Here's what's up. It is time, once again, to meet the Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is Chris Pang.

Who are you?

My mum is Taiwanese and my dad was born in Australia, speaks with the heaviest Aussie accent, wears a cowboy hat, but... both his parents are from southern China. I was born and raised in Australia but now live in LA so I'm... just confused.

What are you?

I'm just a guy who likes cars, plays Xbox and occasionally makes movies.

Where are you?

I'm back in Australia to spend the holidays with my parents!

Where are you from?

Born and raised in Australia -- I really should have read these questions first before answering them. Redeeming fact: my grandma is from the same village as Bruce Lee and we traced the lineage and found my dad is second cousins with him.

What do you do?

I play Xbox and occasionally... Damnit. Okay, I moved to LA to do acting but have recently found myself writing and producing!

What are you all about?

Dirty kbbq. This has honestly changed my life.

What makes you angry?

Ha! I actually read ahead this time and saved this answer so it makes sense instead of me being "all about" changing it. The asexualisation and emasculation of the Asian male in media. It's time for a change -- if I could help it, no Asian boy would ever grow up in a western culture feeling under represented like I did. I don't ever want that kid feeling like he doesn't measure up because of the color of his skin.
