Scooby-Doo creator dies at 81.  Born in Los Angeles in 1925, he was one of the many Japanese Americans sent to internment camps during World War II.  My childhood owes a lot to 
Scooby-Doo.  I salute you, Mr. Takamoto.  I hope you never watched that awful live-action 
Scooby-Doo movie that came out a few years ago.
