win the shanghai restoration project: special edition cd
Hey, how about another giveaway? I've been talking about Dave Liang's Shanghai Restoration Project here and there for over a year now. The album blends traditional Chinese instruments with hip hop and electronic beats. Since debuting early last year, it's been a top-selling electronic album at MSN Music, iTunes and elsewhere. So... you want it? I've got five copies of The Shanghai Restoration Project: Special Edition CD to give away to you, my good readers. The CD contains the top selling tracks from the original Shanghai Restoration Project, in addition the select favorites from Reinterpretations and Instrumentals. Listen to sample tracks here. To enter the giveaway, just email me with your name, mailing address, and "SHANGHAI CD" clearly written in the subject line. It's that simple. (As always, entries that don't follow these directions will be thrown out, along with any and all duplicate entries.) I'll accept entries until the end of Monday, April 9th, then pick five random winners. Easy. So get those entries in. And if you want the CD, but aren't really interested in trying your luck with the drawing, you can buy yourself a copy at Amazon.com and iTunes.
UPDATE: By the way, the first track on the CD, "Introduction," is featured in a worldwide Flower by Kenzo television ad that debuted today. The spot features Taiwanese actress Shu Qi.
UPDATE: The contest is now closed. Thanks to everyone who entered. Winners will be announced shortly.
