free tickets to hard boiled at vc filmfest
This is for all my readers in Southern California... As you know VC Filmfest 2007, the Los Angeles kicks off this week. If you're looking for a good time at the movies this weekend, why not check out the film festival's special retrospective screening of John Woo's 1992 action classic Hard Boiled, playing Saturday, May 5th, 1:00pm at the Director's Guild of America. Starring a much younger Chow Yun Fat, Tony Leung and Anthony Wong at their badassest. Spider-Man 3 will be in theaters a long time, but this is your chance to check out what is arguably Woo's best film on the big screen, with an audience. Best of all, good readers of this website, you can see it for free. I've worked it out with VC to hook you all up with a limited number of tickets. All you have to do is email me by 11:59 pm on Friday with your name and whether you want 1 or 2 tickets. And be sure to write "HARD BOILED TICKETS" in the subject line. I'll put your name on the special AAM list and you can pick up your tickets at the will call desk on Saturday. Simple, right? So let me know if you want to go, and I'll hook you up! It's gonna be a good time.
