Explaining Away Mental Illness. There's quite a bit of focus on the Korean American community, no doubt because of Seung Hui Cho and the Virginia Tech shootings. If any good can come out of that tragedy, let's hope that it can shine a light on mental health issues in the Asian American community, which are too often ignored or silenced out of shame and stigma.
