Here's a story on San Jose Sharks rookie Devin Setoguchi, who made his NHL debut late last month with a hell of a splash: 
Sharks rookie Setoguchi dream debut puts Shark in the spotlight.  He was the Sharks' first-round draft choice in 2005, and was touted quite a bit by team officials. Sounds like the hype was worth it. In his first game last month, he scored two goals to help the Sharks win 4-2 over Dallas.  Not bad for the son of a Canadian potato farmer, and the grandson of World War II internees. The guy has been seriously kicking some ass on the ice:
