San Francisco TV station KBCW recently held its first
Bay Area Search for America's Next Top Model, sifting through hundreds of portfolios and narrowing the field down to one winner:
Tina Nguyen of San Jose. Tina, a 19-year-old college studnet wins a Top Model makeover, a $1000 shopping spree and a full-page photo spread in the
San Francisco Chronicle. Aaaaand, probably most importantly, she'll be flown out to meet with the casting team for the next cycle of CW's
America's Next Top Model. Personally, I think that show is a really big joke, but if Tina gets cast, she'll hopefully do a hell of a lot better than Gina, that super confused Korean American girl from Cycle 6. Shudder. (Thanks, Billy.)
