This week in New Jersey, Kang-Hyuk Choi, the man accused of stabbing three people to death in their home, was ordered by a judge to be held on $5 million bail: $5M bail for man charged in triple murder.
Choi had been held without bail at the Bergen County Jail ever since he was arrested in May and charged with the triple murder. Unless he's got $5 million in poker winnings stashed away somewhere, it looks like he's staying put.
He is accused of killing Sean Kim, 27, Yoo Bok Kim, 57, and Doo Soo Seo, 70, with an 8-inch knife, before fleeing to California, where he was caught in a casino resort. If convicted, it's likely he'll go to prison for the rest of his life.
