angry reader of the week: andre woh

Ah, yes. It's time for another Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's reader is Andre Woh, a young man with a bright future and a lot of faith.

Who are you?
Andrew Oh, but perhaps better known as Andre Woh, a moniker given by none other than the Angry Asian Man himself.

Where are you?
San Ramon, California. For those readers who have heard of this place, you have no idea how much joy it brings me that people know of it. Living here causes me to draw parallels to the isolating feeling of being stuck on the Lost island.

What are you?
I am Korean American, but I will definitely be cheering for Korea in the World Baseball Classic this summer. Because when you've been in a room packed with other Korean Americans during the World Cup, screaming and crying at 4:00 in the morning... it is then that you truly understand what being a fan is all about.

What do you do?
I'm a recently laid-off college graduate with no date for Valentine's Day and I cry myself to sleep everyday. This is what I do. No, but seriously, I am a happy person.

What are you all about?
I am all about love. :) But really, when I stop to consider the magnitude of the social issues and problems we face today, I feel that I have nothing else to lean on except my faith in God. I don't mean to say that as a cynical commentary on the whole of mankind, because I do believe there is a lot of good work being done out there, including movements such as this website which promote awareness of injustices. But I believe there is an ultimately divine purpose for the struggles that we face. And that's what really holds me all together.

What makes you angry?
That it took me so long to articulate my answers for these questions. I should go back to school instead of letting my brain rot. Oh, and Bay Area sports.
