Police are searching for a newer white Ford F-150 or F-250 that witnesses saw leaving the scene. The first three characters of the license are believed to be "YGH." The driver, believed to be in his late 40s or early 50s, apparently got out and looked over the victim, then drove away.
Lin had recently become a U.S. citizen, just in time to cast his first vote in November's Presidential election. He worked seven days a week, 14 hours a day, and recently saved enough to close on a house. His pregnant wife and 5-year-old child in China had been planning to join him in Pittsburgh.
