If you're in Los Angeles, here's some info about a screening/discussion of Parvez Sharma's A Jihad of Love, the first feature documentary exploring the lives of LGBT Muslims, happening this Tuesday, November 17 at UCLA. The details:

Mr. Sharma's film is the world's first feature documentary to explore the complex interconnections between Islam and homosexuality in a global context. The filmmaker will participate in a panel discussion with scholars and advocates expert in critical race theory, Film and Media Studies, and International Law.
