Book lovers, you're gonna love this... This weekend, November 13-14 in New York City, the Asian American Writers' Workshop presents Page Turner: The Asian American Literary Festival, featuring more than forty writers, including Jhumpa Lahiri, Michael Ondaatje, David Henry Hwang, Hari Kunzru, Ed Park, Porochista Khakpour, and legendary editor Sonny Mehta.

The quirky but curated festival will also feature a ukulele-strumming comedian, a former Chinese rocket factory worker, poets making video art, Indian crime fiction, panels on internment and immigration, and a cocktail reception and awards ceremony. Lots more details:
