Next week, Stanford University's Asian American Students' Association hosts Listen to the Silence, its 14th annual Asian American issues conference. It's happening Saturday, January 23 at Cubberley Auditorium.
The event will feature keynote speaker Shahid Buttar, current executive director of the Bill of Rights Defense Committee, and a concert from Tim Be Told. Here are some details:

Listen to the Silence (LTS) is an annual full day conference sponsored by the Asian American Students Association (AASA) that seeks to educate individuals from all over the West Coast on issues facing the Asian American community. The conference will feature workshops run by various student groups and community organizations. It also offers an opportunity to network with people from all over the West Coast and beyond, including our keynote speaker, Shahid Buttar, the current executive director of the Bill of Rights Defense Committee. After a long day, unwind with a concert featuring Tim Be Told.
If that's not enticing enough, the conference is entirely FREE!
