Just wondering... Last year, I heard that New York production company Silverock Films had optioned Chinatown Beat, the first novel in Henry Chang's mystery trilogy following the career of Chinatown native and NYPD detective Jack Yu: Silverock Films Options Soho Crime's Chinatown Beat by Henry Chang.
That was over a year ago. I was just looking at my bookshelf, and it reminded me of the movie adaptation. Can anyone tell me how this project is doing? I'm really curious. The Silverock website lists the project as "in development." This is one those stories I can't wait to see adapted for the big screen.
