I'm not big follower of professional wrestling, but word on the street is, WWE has signed an Asian American wrestler, Su Yung, to a developmental deal:
WWE Reportedly Signs New Asian-American Diva.
I don't really know what "developmental deal" means, and granted, this rumor comes from a website called "Diva Dirt," but that's what they're saying. Whatever the case, more people will be seeing her in action. Wild guess: she's going to be wearing a "ceremonial kimono" into the ring... (ugh.)
Like I said, I'm not a big wrestling fan, but I'm not aware of a huge number of Asian American women performing in WWE (I know they're out there -- Gail Kim comes to mind), so I thought this was noteworthy news.
