The news is that there's no news... Harvard's Jeremy Lin was not one of the 60 players selected yesterday in the 2010 NBA Draft. No doubt, Lin is a solid player, but getting drafted was looking more and more like a long shot.
However, that doesn't mean the end for Jeremy's pro dreams. He will be joining the Dallas Mavericks for mini-camp on Monday and Tuesday and, possibly, for their summer league team in Las Vegas: Mavericks to bring in Lin.
I know there are a lot of Jeremy Lin fans out there -- hell, for a lot of Asian American hoops fans, he's the chosen one. He's a smart, impressive player who works hard, and there's still interest in seeing what he's capable of. I hope this means we'll be seeing more of him down the line.
