Mark your calendars, hungry people. Next week, Project By Project of Southern California will host its 8th annual tasting benefit, Plate by Plate So Cal benefiting the Health Justice Network.

It's a huge-ass tasting event featuring food stations restaurants and chefs from all over Los Angeles. It's happening Saturday, August 14 at the California Science Center. Here are some more details:

A tasting benefit event for the senses! Chefs from many of the Southland's finest New American, international, and fusion restaurants join with exceptional vintners, brewers, and distillers from around the world to bring you a midsummer night's dream of mouth-watering, nose-pleasing food and fun! While having your fill of delicious wines, divine dishes, and delectable desserts, keep an eye out for the celebrities in attendance... and take in the live entertainment on stage.

For the consummate experience, upgrade to a VIP ticket and enjoy access to a private area and reception featuring exclusive tastings and entertainment. Proceeds from both your admission and auction purchases go to benefit the Health Justice Network!
