fbi offering $10,000 reward in robbery cases targeting asians

So you know about the series of armed robberies that have been targeting Asian American-owned businesses in Pennsylvania. In eleven weeks there have been eleven home invasions and one burglary, and all the victims were Asians who own or operate businesses in West Philadelphia and Upper Darby.

Make no mistake: Asian American business owners are being targeted. And the authorities finally seem to be getting it. The FBI is now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for the robberies: $10,000 reward in home invasion cases targeting Asians.
"The FBI is coordinating with all of the law enforcement agencies in an effort to maximize the investigative resources being devoted to arresting the individuals responsible for these heinous and violent crimes," Challman said. "We are anticipating that a successful conclusion to these collaborative efforts and investigations will be prosecutions at the federal level."

The FBI is leading a collaborative investigation involving local police departments, the Delaware County Prosecutor's Office and the United States Attorney's Office, but have no suspects. Each of the victims have been Asian-Americans owning businesses and residences mostly in Southwest Philadelphia and Delaware County and the invasions occurred mostly during the night or early morning, the FBI said.

The FBI said it believes the perpetrators have followed their victims home from their businesses, in some cases, and that attempted burglaries of several of the victims' homes were reported prior to the robberies. The FBI said items stolen have included cash, jewelry, credit cards and electronics, but no one has suffered a physical injury.
More here: Asian-American business owners targeted. Money talks, and hopefully $10,000 will get someone out there to talk. Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI at 215-418-4000. Tipsters can remain anonymous. Everyone else, if you or someone you know owns a business out there, be careful and stay vigilant.
