angry reader of the week: anthony kim

Hey everybody! It's time to meet another Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is Anthony Kim, aka Akim of Vox Merger.

Who are you?
Anthony Kim. Not the golfer, dammit!

What are you?
I'm one half of the hip-hop duo, the Vox Merger, a law student, and an editor on Law Review.

Ethnically, I'm Korean, Filipino, and Chinese.

Where are you?
Sunny San Diego. More specifically though, I'm holed up in my apartment recovering from a wicked flu. I've been missing class and work, and to top it off, I was supposed to see the homies from afterschoolspecial and FM perform in downtown later on tonight. And now I don't know if I'm going to be healthy enough to make it out.

Where are you from?
Norwalk, CA. Peace to Norwalk High, Cerritos College, and the rest of our great educational institutions.

What do you do?
I'm a full time student pursuing my JD. Aside from that, I'm also an artist on the label, Illamental. Illamental is the home of artists making music for the grown, the sexy, the intelligent, or any mixture thereof.

What are you all about?
I'm about trying to fulfill all of the potential I've been given, whether it be a little, or a lot. I'm also about putting myself in a position to contribute meaningfully to my family, to my people, and to my friends. And lastly, I'm about working on myself everyday to becoming a better person than I was the day before. If you'd like to find out more of what I'm all about, feel free to follow me on Twitter OR be my friend on Facebook!!

What makes you angry?
There are little things that tick me off but I usually get over them pretty quickly. This would include when people assume things about me without getting to know me, when people refuse to progress in their thinking, when I lose in Madden, which is rarely, etc. I reserve my permanent anger for the longstanding injustices that have affected society for so long, but that's a real long list, so let's end on a happy note. On December 4th, I'll be opening for the Wu-Tang Clan in San Diego. Come check us out!!
