78-year-old man dies in bicycle hit-and-run accident

Terrible. In Washington D.C., police are investigating a hit-and-run bicycle accident on November 26 that left 78-year-old Quan Chu in critical condition. Last week, he died: Man Struck by Bicycle in Northwest Alley Dies.

Chu and his wife were walking in an alley in northwest Washington when they were struck by a bicyclist. Chu fell and hit his head on the ground. He and his wife were transported to the hospital, where he died last Tuesday.

Meanwhile, authorities are searching for the bicyclist, who fled the scene. He is described by police as an Hispanic male with black hair:
The bicyclist was described by police as an Hispanic male with black hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and was possibly riding a BMX-style bike. He was last seen traveling south on I Street NW.
