Looking for a job? OCA, a national organization dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well being of Asian Pacific Americans, is looking for a Manager to lead OCA's student leadership development programs in Washington D.C. JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

MANAGER
OCA Student Leadership Development Programs

THE POSITION: The Program Manager will be primarily responsible for managing, developing, and evaluating OCA's Internship Program and APIA U: Leadership 101 Program. The Program Manager will also provide direct supervision to designated staff in the OCA Scholarship Program. The position will report directly to the Executive Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop and implement student leadership development programs
* Design and implement evaluation mechanisms for relevant programs
* Supervise activities of staff and interns who assist with the relevant programs
* Collaborate with the development department to provide written reports to funders, OCA leadership and others as assigned
* Collaborate with the communications department to develop and update content for the organization’s website, print magazine, electronic newsletter, and outreach materials
* Coordinate activities with partner organizations
* Frequent travel to speak on behalf of OCA at program events and related external functions
* Respond to requests and inquiries about OCA’s student leadership development programs in a professional and timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum of 1to 2 years of work experience in program management
* Bachelor Degree or equivalent required
* Strong writing and communication skills
* Capacity to work independently and as part of a team to fulfill the student development goals of the organization
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
* Knowledge in and experience with APA communities and issues preferred

SALARY & BENEFITS: $36,000 to $40,000, health insurance, and paid vacation and holidays

LOCATION: OCA National Center in Washington, D.C.
