maryland man found dead after shooting mother and sister

Some news out of Maryland about a double shoooting and suicide involving an Asian family last week in Frederick County. According to investigators, 26-year-old John Ming Lee wounded his mother and sister before apparently shooting himself in the head: Police: Man shot mother, sister, then self.

Lee's mother Siach Song and 18-year-old sister Amy Zheng were both shot. His father Jingmin Zheng was hurt when he jumped from a second-floor window. Lee was found dead in a car with the gun after a slow-speed chase.
The Maryland Office of Chief Medical Examiner determined Friday that Lee died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Song was shot once in the back, and Zheng suffered one gunshot wound that injured her arms, wrists, neck and face, investigators said.

Criminal investigators found luggage, clothes and cash in the car that Lee died in, which suggests he was trying to leave the area, the Frederick County Sheriff's Office said.
More here: Man found dead after allegedly shooting family members. None of the news articles give any clue to why Lee attacked his family. Thankfully, all three victims survived and are recovering at the University of Maryland Medical Center's Shock Trauma unit in Baltimore. It's tragic.
