reminder: banana 2 blogger conference, february 26

Just wanted to remind everyone about next month's Banana 2 conference, a one-day gathering of Asian Pacific Islander American bloggers from across the country. Lots of interesting panels and workshops are coming together, featuring a wide variety of voices representing APIA blogosphere.

It's happening Saturday, February 26 at CBS Studios in Studio City, California. Want to go for free? I'm giving a way some free passes. To enter for your chance to win, scroll down to the bottom of this post. Here are some more details about the conference:
BANANA 2
The Second Annual Gathering of Asian/Pacific Islander American Bloggers

Date:
Saturday, February 26, 2011

Time:
Conference: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Reception: 6:00 PM

Location:
CBS Studio Center
4024 Radford Avenue
Studio City, CA 91604

Here are a couple of fun and exciting things to look forward to at the conference:

Asian Pacific Islander American (APIA) bloggers covering everything from fashion, music and entertainment to niche groups including Fatherhood and the Food communities!

In 2009, the BANANA conference was created to highlight and expand the online Asian Pacific Islander American (APIA) voice. The second annual conference invites thought-provoking and creative APIA bloggers to share their experiences, knowledge, endeavors, and visions with others - bloggers and non-bloggers, APIAs and non-APIAs alike. By bridging the unique personalities of the online AAPI community together, the intent is to create connections and create dialogues which extend beyond the conference - both online and offline.
Regular admission is $20, and student admission is $15. But if you'd like to attend BANANA 2 for free, I'm giving away two passes to the conference. To enter for your chance to win, go here and submit your name and contact information. Two winners will be drawn at random. The entry deadline is January 25. The passes are just for the conference admission and do not include travel or lodging.

For more information about the conference, including registration, participant details and the full schedule of events, go to the BANANA 2 website here.
