when being facebook friends is not enough

I'm sorry, but I found this kind of amusing. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, has reportedly taken out a restraining order against an alleged stalker, Pradeep Manukonda, who's apparently been sending Zuckerberg threatening message through -- of course! -- Facebook: Restraining order issued for man allegedly stalking Zuckerberg.

According to TMZ, Manukonda sent a weird handwritten letter to Zuckerberg, begging for financial assistance for his ill mother. He also sent Facebook messages to Zuckerberg, his sister and his girlfriend -- including more than 20 times in one day -- and then attempted to show up at several Facebook offices, as well as Zuckerberg's house in Palo Alto:
The restraining order, TMZ reported, was issued after Manukonda sent Facebook messages to Zuckerberg, his sister Randi Zuckerberg, and his girlfriend Priscilla Chan, and then attempted to show up at several Facebook offices as well as Zuckerberg's house in Palo Alto, Calif.

The letter posted by TMZ contains a lengthy, disturbing plea: "I have no harmful intentions or get associated with your name. Believe me what I am doing is my last efforts to save my mother. Hope you are going to understand a son pain. I am waiting outside your house please do the heedful assistance in saving my mother."

In some of the Facebook messages, Manukonda reported that he was "ready to die for you."
Manukonda has apparently been ordered to stay 300 yards away from the Zuckerbergs and Priscilla Chan until a hearing later this month. Dude does not sound like he's operating on the same reality as the rest of us. More here: Court tells man to stay away from Facebook founder.

I know I shouldn't laugh, because there are some crazy-ass people out there, and stalking is a serious matter. I just find it funny that Mark Zuckerberg, the guy responsible for creating the infernal Facebook -- a stalker's favorite tool -- is now the victim of stalking himself. How does it feel, Mark?
