audition for new fox talent show the x factor

Last year, Simon Cowell stepped away from judging duties on American Idol to work on his upcoming new Fox talent show The X Factor. They're holding open auditions, and I'm told that they're actively reaching out to the Asian American community to get more of our people to audition.

Frankly, I think the more Asians we have out there holding it down in entertainment, the better. Auditions begin next week, March 27 at the L.A. Sports Arena, and continue in major cities across the United States. Here's some more information:

I guess what differentiates this show from other singing competition series is the fact that contestants must audition in front of judges and a huge audience. If I'm not mistaken, the UK version of this show is responsible for launching the career of Leona Lewis.

We've got acts like Far East Movement tearing up the charts. We've got Asians basically dominating America's Best Dance Crew for the last five seasons. Thia Megia is still holding it down on American Idol. The time is now, people. The time was yesterday.

Have you got what it takes? Sign up for audition information at fox.com/theXfactor or call toll-free 855-345-567. For more information about The X Factor, go to the Fox site here.
