t.v. carpio in limitless

Here's an article on actress T.V. Carpio, who appears in the movie Limitless, opening in theaters this weekend. Catch her while you can, because you may or may not also get to see her soon as the villainess Arachne in the problem-plagued Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, which was recently postponed yet again: T.V. Carpio: Her possibilities are Limitless.
Carpio boasts of having a blast playing the mentor-turned-villain Arachne.

"It's a challenge and it's exploration, and that's what I really love," says Carpio. "That's why it has been so great working with Julie [Taymor] because she definitely allows you to play with the character, which is awesome for me."

With Taymor no longer directing [She recently stepped down.] and the opening postponed until summer, Carpio's role might change once more. Carpio was originally cast as Miss Arrow but stepped into the role of Arachne to replace the injured Natalie Mendoza, who suffered a concussion and subsequently left the production.

With multiple other injuries during previews, Carpio claims that the cast has only grown closer because of them.

"I will be excited when we can show our work, and I hope people will come and enjoy it for what it is," tells Carpio. "If anything it has brought us closer because it seems like everyone's against us. This has bonded us."
I was actually curious about seeing Turn Off the Dark on Broadway, if only for the opportunity to see T.V. Carpio rock it as Arachne... but at this point I'm kind of with everyone else -- this thing sounds like a disaster. (But I'm sure she's great in it.)
