It's like something out of
Grey's Anatomy... Check out this recent
crazy segment on ABC's
20/20 on the true story of battlefield doctors who had the dangerous task of removing an
unexploded bomb from a soldier's body in Afghanistan (seriously, this was once a story on
Grey's Anatomy):
Bomb Inside Soldier's Body.
A patrol is attacked, and a guy finds himself with impaled with an unexploded three-foot rocket-propelled grenade, sticking right out of his body. One of the surgeons featured in the story is
Major John Oh, who was part of the team responsible for removing the explosive. A human bomb -- in order to save his life, the doctors had to risk their own. It's an incredible story. Watch it
here. (Thanks, Wayne.)
