straight outta comic-con: john cho talks harold and kumar, american reunion and star trek


If you were at Comic-Con and attended the panel for the new Total Recall remake, you might have seen actor John Cho sporting a pretty odd mustache. You probably also saw some early footage of John rocking some serious blonde hair in the movie. Yup. He plays a character named McClane, the shady guy who runs Recall and sends Colin Farrell's Quaid on his merry adventure.

I got no footage for you, but here's a decent Collider interview from the press line, where John talks about the state various upcoming projects, including the new Harold and Kumar, American Pie and Star Trek movies:

In case you're curious, the sweet 'stache was for the filming of American Reunion, the fourth installment of the American Pie series, in which John reprises his role as "MILF Guy No. 2" -- the role the arguably put him on the map.

While I'm at it, this is a couple of months old, but I recently came across this great video of John Cho sitting in as a guest on Kevin Pollak's Chat Show. It's a great interview in which he talks about his career and a bunch of other interesting topics for nearly two hours. If you've got some time to spare, check it out.
