Some movie news from a couple of weeks ago: Chris Brown, Josh Holloway land on 'Planet B Boy'

It looks like production is underway for director Benson Lee's feature film Planet B-Boy, about an American b-boy crew that heads to France to compete at the Battle of the Year International Championships.

The movie, starring Josh Holloway, Josh Peck and Chris Brown, is a fictional adaptation of Benson Lee's own 2007 documentary of the same name.

Production is underway for Lost alum Josh Holloway and Chris Brown's upcoming film Planet B Boy.

Based on a documentary of the same, the film follows a crew of American street dancers as they train to compete in France’s Battle of the Year International Championships. Benson Lee, who directed the Planet B-Boy documentary, will also helm its fictional adaptation. The film also stars Laz Alonso, Josh Peck, and Caity Lotz.

Since it doesn't look like any of the main characters are Asian (you pretty much lost me at Chris Brown), all I ask is that the international competition shows those crews from Korea and Japan reppin' hard. If you've seen the documentary, you know they're the real stars of this battle. Hope we get to see some of that.
