22nd Annual API Issues Conference
Saturday, March 17th, 9AM - 4PM

Location:
MLK Student Union
University of California Berkeley

This student-run conference put on each year brings communities on campus together to address pertinent API issues and to facilitate critical dialogue necessary for conscious activism. By bringing underrepresented issues to the forefront, the conference creates awareness of ethnic diversity and also creates discussion within and among the API community members as well as the broader Cal community.

Our theme "Movement is Struggle, Struggle is Movement,” not only celebrates the progress in the movement, but also evaluates the setbacks to ensure that our strategies of political education, community building, and mobilization are effective. By reflecting and restructuring how we address community issues, we can strengthen a movement which can both mobilize our communities and carry momentum into the future.

Students will gain an understanding of API issues on/off campus. With their newfound knowledge, they can go back to their respective communities and create positive movement.
The conference is free and open to the public; you just have to register.
