new charge in sexual attack at university of texas

A couple of months ago, I wrote about a guy who was arrested in a sexual attack at the University of Texas. Looks like they've added another charge in the case: New charge in UT sexual attack case.

After trying to grab and photograph a woman on campus, 20-year-old Ji Hun Choi was arrested on lesser charges of assault causing bodily injury and improper photography. But based on further investigation, police are charging Choi with sexual assault:
According to UT police, on June 24, Ji Hun Choi followed the victim from the intersection of 21st Street and Guadalupe to her dorm at Roberts Hall. When the victim went to her dorm he held the door open for her and followed her up the stairs. As she walked up the stairs, he began to photograph her with his phone and grabbed her from behind.

Originally, officers charged the suspect with a lesser charge, assault causing bodily injury and improper photography, a state jail felony. After further investigation, police said that Choi intentionally and knowingly touched the victim without her consent, therefore committing sexual assault.

In an arrest warrant affidavit issued Tuesday, Austin police charged Choi with sexual assault, a second-degree felony, and set his bail for $100,000.
Dude sounds creepy as hell. Have fun with that second-degree felony. More here: New charges filed in UT sexual assault incident
