Holy smokes! The 2013 Sundance Film Festival just announced its latest selection of feature documentaries, and the lineup includes the world premiere of Linsanity, a film about -- you guessed it -- NBA star Jeremy Lin.
Directed by Evan Leong, Linsanity follows Jeremy's incredible story, from his humble Bay Area roots to his unlikely, meteoric rise to stardom. You remember last February -- but how did he get there? Here's the Sundance blurb:
Linsanity / U.S.A. (Director: Evan Leong) - Jeremy Lin came from a humble background to make an unbelievable run in the NBA. State high school champion, all-Ivy League at Harvard, undrafted by the NBA and unwanted there: his story started long before he landed on Broadway. This film has actually been in the works for a while -- Evan and Co. started filming Jeremy's story prior to the amazing madness we now know and love as Linsanity. Who knew that Jeremy Lin would become a household name? Nobody, really. Sounds the like makings of a good documentary.
The Sundance Film Festival runs January 17-27, 2013.
