All right! You know what time it is. Everybody, I would like you to meet the Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is Mark Redito, aka Spazzkid.
Who are you?
I am Mark Redito, most people know be my music moniker "Spazzkid." I'm also always hungry and I dislike shaving.
What are you?
Musician, artist, DJ, graphic designer, photographer, all-around DIY punk.
Where are you?
Currently in a bedroom somewhere in deep suburban Southern California.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in the Philippines; San Pedro, Laguna to be exact. I moved to the US 5 years ago to study music production and to pursue artistic dreams.
What do you do?
I produce and perform electronic music as Spazzkid. I released an LP last April called Desire which is one of my proudest and most intimate efforts. Cliched as it sounds, music is my life. It's all I do in my waking hours -- listening, recording, and playing music. I'm also keen on expressing myself through photos, videos and graphic design. I also love hanging out with my girlfriend and cooking awesome food.
What are you all about?
Self-expression, pursuing dreams, collaboration and shunning naysayers. Oh, and good beer and sake.
What makes you angry?
Racism, social injustice, colonialism, corruption and consumerism.
