Reality show casting call seeks Asian American families

In search of "multi-generational, affluent, Asian American families."

Got this casting call sent my way for a potential reality television show that's looking for "multi-generational, affluent, Asian American families."

I don't know much more beyond that -- heck, maybe they're trying to make the reality TV version of Crazy Rich Asians -- but it's being produced by High Noon Entertainment, which has had shows the Travel Channel, AMC, TLC, Discovery Channel and the like, so it's legit. Infer what you will.

Here's some more information on what they're looking for:

HIGH NOON ENTERTAINMENT CASTING NOTICE

High Noon Entertainment is casting for a potential Reality TV show. We're in search of multi-generational, affluent, Asian American families!

Are you a part of an Asian American household with strong ties to traditional Asian heritage AND popular American culture; the "old world" colliding with the “new world”? Do you and your family members have strong opinions and big personalities? If so, we want to hear from you!

This project will be casting from 10/9/13 – 12/30/13. All candidates must be located on the east or west coasts…east coast is preferable.

If you would like to be involved in the project, please contact Kelly ASAP at kmahoney@highnoontv.com. Please include a picture and a small blurb about yourself.

Casting begins ASAP, so the sooner we hear from you, the better!
Wanna be on a reality show? Maybe your family fits the bill. Like I said, I don't know what this is or if it's going to be any good (honestly, I wish people would stop trying to force this "old world" versus "new world" dynamic on Asian American family narratives), but you never know. Send an email to Kelly at at kmahoney@highnoontv.com. Apply at your own risk!
