Watch her spin three chairs with her cool rendition of "Chuck E.'s in Love"
Awesome. Last night, NBC kicked off the latest season of its signature singing competition The Voice. One of the evening's standout performers was Atlanta singer was Clara Hong, who made coaches Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams turn their chairs within seconds of her ultra-cool rendition of Rickie Lee Jones' "Chuck E.'s in Love." (Blake Shelton apparently wasn't feeling it. Fool.)
Here's video of her blind audition:
Talk about making an impression.
According to her bio, Clara recently made the decision to put college on hold to pursue music full-time. She auditioned for The Voice to prove to her parents that she's made the right decision. You go girl.
As you can see, she has aligned herself with Team Adam. Hoping to see her go far this season.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
