Research Survey: Asian Americans needed for body image study

Seeking Asian American participants, ages 18 and older, to complete an online survey.

Passing along this research study that could use your help...

I recently heard from Dr. Frances Shen, Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Illinois at Springfield, who is looking for Asian American participants, ages 18 or older, to complete an anonymous web-based survey to develop a measure on body image for Asian American men and women.

Here's some more details on the survey:

Asian American Body Image Scale Development: Pilot Study

My name is Dr. Frances Shen, and I am conducting an independent research project with the assistance of Brittany Sievers, Trenton Adams and Ragini Srikrishna, student research assistants at the University of Illinois Springfield. I am in need of Asian American participants to complete an anonymous web-based survey to develop a measure on body image for Asian American men and women. We are seeking individuals who are: (1) 18 years of age or older, and (2) identify as an Asian American. The entire study should take approximately 15 to 20 minutes. No identifying information will be collected. The researchers will not know who supplied what answers. You will not be asked to provide your name, and all data from this study will be reported in a group format.

As a thank you, participants who complete the survey can enter into a lottery drawing with a chance to win a $25 gift certificate. For further information about the study, and to participate, go here.
