Elektra cuts some fools in the new 'Daredevil' teaser

Elodie Yung stars as the sai-wielding assassin in season two of Netflix's 'Daredevil'

All right, Marvel fans. Up to now, we'd only seen brief glimpses of Elodie Yung as Elektra in the upcoming second season of Netflix's Daredevil. But in this new 15-second teaser, we get to see her cut a fool. It's quick, but we see her wielding those signature sais and demonstrating some lethal rooftop badassery.

Check it out:

Created by Frank Miller in 1981, Elektra Natchios first appeared in Daredevil #168. In addition to being one of Daredevil's fan-favorite romantic interests, she is a deadly ninja assassin.

In season two of the Netflix series, Elektra shows up as "a mysterious woman from Matt Murdock's past whose dangerous and exotic ways may be more than he can handle." The first season of Daredevil made passing reference to a certain "Greek girl" in a flashback scene, which fans recognized as a likely nod to Elektra.

Elodie Yung is of French and Cambodian descent -- not Greek, as far as I know, so there is some reverse racebending going on. Which is totally fine by me, fanboys.

Season two of Marvel's Daredevil premieres March 18 on Netflix.
