Hello, good and faithful readers! It is time, once again, to meet the Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is Lewis Tan.

Who are you?

Lewis Tan.

What are you?

I am a British, Chinese, American man who works as an actor and film maker. I am also the oldest of four brothers.

Where are you?

Changes monthly, I travel all the time. I was in Atlanta, Korea, Japan and Los Angeles last month.

Where are you from?

Manchester, England is where I was born. (My prayers go out to the strong people of my city.) I traveled all around the world as a kid with my father as he moved from film set to film set. From Asia to Europe to the states. We finally settled in Los Angeles for the film industry but I don't think I have stayed in the country longer than two years straight.

What do you do?

I am obsessed with movement. The way the body moves and the things it can do. I like to push myself to the edge, that is where I feel most comfortable. It is the place where I feel the most progression. From different martial arts, gymnastics, calisthenics, extreme sports, my goal is to increase my physical abilities as a human. I want to be the best version of me. Like master Bruce said, "Be like water." It is a flow, but it is an aggression in the way water can crash too, I love this idea, the creative opposition. I love when I can break through to a place I haven't been before, it could be physically, spiritually, or in a manner of career or just as a man. This is my main focus.

What are you all about?

There is no plan B. That is my motto. I believe breaking boundaries in the film industry and telling powerful stories that effect peoples lives is why I am here. I believe it was in my blood. When actors say what we do is just play and entertainment, I think there could be some truth to that, but this art form (FILM) at its greatest capacity has the power to influence and change the world, and it already has on every single level from saving lives, changing laws, creating awareness, etc... My energy is fully focused on personal truth and achieving that goal, other than that I am all about seeing the world, love, gratitude, drinking good wine, listening to good jazz and enjoying my life while I am still here.

What makes you angry?

Injustice comes to mind first. Ignorance, laziness, selfishness, come up next. I used to get angry a lot when I was younger. It led to a lot of fights, broken relationships and bitterness. I learned to channel my anger. I can govern it now, it no longer controls me. The things I used to get angry about (especially regarding the film industry). I realize now helped build who I am, my many distastes created taste, the pressure made me more adept. This is one of the most valuable things I could tell anyone. If you are fighting for representation, for your voice to be heard, for yourself or for a whole group of people. Let the anger fuel you, but turn it into something that is bigger than yourself. Create a way where there was no way before. You can waste the energy being angry and yelling at the top of your lungs, or you can use it to create change.

Like Rage Against the Machine once said "Anger is a gift." Besides that, I am angry when I see guys wearing flip flops in the weight room at the gym. I am angry when I am hungry. I am angry when I have to update my iPhone software and it changes all my shit around. I am angry when America remakes classic masterpieces films from other countries. I am angry when my dog eats things off the floor even when I tell her not to and ends up throwing up later. I am angry when pens run out of ink in the middle of me writing. Did I mention hunger?
