woman dies after being set on fire by her son

Damn. What the hell is wrong with people? Horrific story out of Southern California... Last week, a 59-year-old woman died after being set on fire by her son: Sylmar woman allegedly set on fire by her son dies, LAPD says.

Heunae Chang died of severe burns after being intentionally set on fire at her home in Sylmar. Her son, 25-year-old Philip Chang, was originally booked for attempted murder while she was still alive, but there will no doubt be new charges pending an investigation:
Heunae Chang was "intentionally set on fire" Saturday morning and had been clinging to life, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement.

She died Thursday morning. Officers found the woman in her home in 12000 block of Via Santa Marta.

Her 25-year-old son, Phillip Chang, was arrested at the home on suspicion of murder. He was being held in lieu of $1 million bail, the LAPD said.
Police haven't release any further details on a motive, or how the victim was killed. Anyone with information is asked to call (877) 222-8477. More here: Sylmar woman dies after being set on fire; son arrested.
