Hyphen Call for Submissions: Fiction and Poetry

Hey, writers. Hyphen wants you! For their next issue, the Asian American news culture magazine is putting the call out for fiction and poetry submissions from talented APIA writers. The submission deadline is June 15.

They're specifically looking stories and poems pertaining to Issue 28's theme: The Future. What the heck does that mean? Anything, really. Have fun and be creative -- the possibilities are endless.

Here are some more submission details:

From the very literal narrative to a more abstract interpretation. The theme is limitless in possibilities, so have fun with it and surprise us with your inventiveness! Poems and stories need not be about Asian American themes to be considered. We care about great writing first and foremost.

To submit fiction, send a single short story (no excerpts or flash please) no more than 5,000 words to fiction@hyphenmagazine.com.

To submit poetry, send no more than five poems in a single document to poetry@hyphenmagazine.com.

Deadline: June 15
